Malaga Airport Departures

The departures hall at Malaga Airport is located on the first floor (upper level) of Terminal 3.

Here you will also find the security checkpoint where all passengers will pass through, regardless of whether their departure gate is assigned to T3 (Schengen flights) or T2 (non-Schengen flights).

The T3 is a large and spacious departures hall and everything there is well signposted.

Travellers will find a wide range of services both within the public area of the departures hall and in the area reserved for passengers after security screening.

If you are arriving by taxi or transfer then you will be dropped off directly outside the departures entrance. If you hire a car at Malaga airport, you won't have to use the narrow footbridge, sometimes it's a bit tricky when you carry a lot of lugagge.

There is also an Airport Train Service from Malaga city centre and the main tourist resorts of the western Costa del Sol (Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola) to Malaga Airport.

The line C-1 runs every 20 minutes in both directions.

The suburban train station is conveniently located just a few metres from the arrivals terminal and can be reached within a minute's walk.

You can find up to date departures information below, including details of any delays or changes to your flight. You can also call the airport for departures information, although during high season you're likely to find it continuously engaged. The telephone number is: 0034 952 048 838.
